Terms and Conditions
AIRPORT.
1. All reservations must be guaranteed by corporate account or credit card.
2. AIRPORT ARRIVALS: After you pick up ALL your luggage, call 847-456-0571. Give us the reservation name, the door number you are at and dispatch will tell you the plate number on the vehicle picking you up.
3. All commercial arrivals (United, American, Southwest, Midwest, etc.) at O'Hare and Midway airports are subject to a $2.00 MPEA tax levied by the State of Illinois. All commercial arrivals at Milwaukee's General Mitchell Field are subject to a $3.50 parking fee levied by the airport authority.
4. YOU MUST call our office with any changes in you flight plans or if you luggage is lost. We'll hold your vehicle for up to1 hour after the arrival time according to the airline. We track all inbound flights. You are considerred a "No Show" after 1 hour and your credit card will be billed accordingy.
5. Airport cancellations must be received at least 12 hours prior to scheduled pick up time to avoid full charge.
6. A "No Show" (i.e. reservations not cancelled properly) will be billed at our current rate plus 20% gratuity.
7. PREPAID TRAVEL means that payment will be charge to the credit card on file without the passenger signing a credit card slip at the time of service. Prepaid travel will be charge at out current rate plus 20% gratuity.
8. DEPARTURES: Ther is a 15 minute grace period after scheduled pick up time. After that, ther is a $1.00/minute charge in 15 minute increments. E.G. 20 minutes after scheduled pickup= $15.00 additional charge. 35 minutes after pickup = $30.00 additional charge.
HIGH SCHOOL EVENTS.
1. We allow one split of time before or during high school events, such as proms and dances, with at least one-hour on the front end. One split means that we will allow the clock to stop once, and then restart the clock at a later time. For example, a 3 hour charter could be booked as follows for a high school event:
Initial pick up at 7:00 pm and drop off at the dance by 8:00 pm. Pick up again at 10:30 pm and conclude charter at 12:30 pm. In this example, there is no charge for the time between 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
If you are splitting the time, the second half of the split must resume no later than 11:00 pm. No splits are allowed after the main event is over.
Soft drinks are provided at no additional charge.
Our rates are subject to change until booked.
2. A $100.00 deposit is required to reserve the vehicle for that date. Cancellation must be received at least 2 weeks before the scheduled pick up time or deposit is non-refundable. The balance due with be charged to the credit card the day of the event prior to vehicle arriving at pick up location.
3.No drugs, alcohol, smoking or sex allowed in the car at any time.
4. Any violation of terms and condition may result in immediate termination of the trip with no money refunded.
5. Each parent or lead parent must provide a phone or cell-phone contact in case of emergency or violation.
6.Only registered passengers are allowed transportation in the vehicle.
7. Any unusual spill, soiling or damage to the vehicle caused by the passengers will be charged to the credit card guaranteeing the vehicle. There is an automatic $500.00 charge for vomiting. Credit card holder accepts full responsibility for vehicle damage or special cleaning, and any loss of income due to negligence or carelessness cuased by any passenger in the vehicle.
8. In case of limousine breakdown or mechanical failure, ARTHUR'S LIMOUSINE OF CHICAGO is responsible for a maximum refund of limousine rental only.
9. ARTHUR'S LIMOUSINE OF CHICAGO, INC. is not responsible for any unattended, forgotten, left, lost, damaged or stolen articles in the vehicle at any time.
10.ARTHUR'S LIMOUSINE OF CHICAGO, INC. is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic conditions, mechanical problems, airlines and/or airport problems, automobile accidents caused by others or acts of God.
11. Number of passengers allowed in vehicle shall be no more than specified number in contract or limited to the vehicle pasenger capacity it is designed to carry.
12. ARTHUR'S LIMOUSINE OF CHICAGO, INC. reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater value in the event of mechanical difficulties or scheduling reasons.
13. Unless specified on the contract, request for additional hours will be provided only if the vehicle is not scheduled for other work..
14. Since all vehicles are considered for hire and public conveyance, there is no smoking in any vehicle. If chauffeur is smoking in vehicle, please report this to office.
WEDDINGS.
1. $100.00 deposit per vehicle is required to secure date. If service is cancelled within 30 days of date, deposit is forfeited. Visa & Mastercard are accepted.
2. Any unusual spill, soiling or damage to the vehicle caused by the passengers will be charged to the credit card guaranteeing the vehicle. There is an automatic $500.00 charge for vomiting. Credit card holder accepts full responsibility for vehicle damage or special cleaning, and any loss of income due to negligence or carelessness cuased by any passenger in the vehicle.
3. Wet bar is provided: Pop, water, ice and a complimentary bottle of champagne for the bride and groom.
4. Decorations: No tape allowed on painted surfaces. Tape can be used on windows only. "Just Married" signage is available at no charge. Magnetic decorations are allowed. All decorations are at the discretion of the Chauffeur.
